This week, Steffen Walz heads to Barcelona for the RMIT DRI Trans-disciplinary Research Symposium, co-organized by RMIT Europe and entitled "Collaboration: Organising for Design Impact and Value".

In our contemporary environment scholars, practitioners, activists, artists, policy makers and business are seeking novel ways to make change happen and to innovate in the world. This has generated a context where design practice, ‘design thinking’ and design theory are relevant in new ways and are being reshaped through new forms of collaborative engagement with other disciplines and modes of practice.

Steffen's Provocation "Play Collaboration, or Go Insane" will be included in the DRI Collaboration Program. The Provocation explores the myriad constraints when designing for collaboration.
