In a Nutshell
At RMIT University's GEElab, we are researching how game design thinking can positively affect and alter architecture & urbanism, mobility, popular media, storytelling, engagement, other sciences as well as society itself.
We're happy to announce Adelle Lin's collaborative pinball game 'Word of Mouth' (co-created with Simon Hill) has been accepted into this year's Different Games Arcade in Brooklyn.
Different Games is an annual student and volunteer-lead conference on diversity and inclusivity in games presented by NYU School of Engineering's Integrated Digital Media Program in partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology's Digital Media Program.
Game designers, academics, journalists and players operate in separate spheres; Different Games is an opportunity to share across and outside of professional boundaries. By presenting games, scholarship and hands-on workshops engaged with issues of diversity and inclusion the event seeks to build new connections and foster a unique dialogue between artistic, academic and commercial practice.
